try stew mac in america ... they have some straight bits for 3/32 ... they may well have other bits as well ... they supply violin etc makers

i think there is also a luthier supplier in melbourne, but whether they have anything like that, i have no idea, but could be worth a try

We get milling cutters made and sharpened by Jalor Tools in Melbourne, I'm sure they be able to make them to your spec... maybe even machine down the shank of whatever ones you have that don't fit, so they fit your collet.

Doubt if you have any hope of finding anything other than straight bits. If you want profiles, machining down the shaft of 1/4" bits is probably your only choice.

Do so at your own risk. Anything spinning at 20k rpm needs to be balanced to within milligrams, especially when the shaft bearings are probably only the size of your thumb nail and not capable of tolerating the vibration of off-balance tooling.

Just out of curiosity, why not just get a 1/4" trimmer? The Maktec is only $100 and then you have access to 100s of bits

I was thinking about doing that BUT YES the rotational balance is a concern....thank you...

though I'd probably get a Bosch or another "main name" brand because 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 6 mm, 8 mm and other "strange" size collets are available from 3rd party manufacturers

I do have an older Makita Trimmer but would like to use the Dremel Trio as it seems to run a little smoother for the smaller jobs/toys I do.
The ordered the router bits from the "C & L Tool Centre".
