Default Kreg Bench top router table

I'm currently looking at upgrading a few of my tools and the Kreg bench top router table has caught my eye. I currently using the triton 2000 series table top on the work centre and the kreg looks a whole lot flasher than the triton. For space it would be awesome and not having to change from saw table to router table would also be great.

Is the kreg worth the dollars is one thing I was wondering, also is it compatible with all router types. I'm currently using a Makita 3612 and it doesn't have the ability to change bits from the top of the table. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I have the larger Kreg router table with a Triton router. The Triton has its own lift mechanism, so adjusting setting and changing bits is easy. Very happy with this set up.

I recently moved from the triton router table to a Kreg table and fence and love it. I'm using a Triton router.

Is this the one you are looking at? If so there is a video on the page which shows the good points, but they do advocate the Triton router on a couple of videos I watched. Certainly makes the height adjustment and bit changing easy.

I picked up my Kreg bench top table a few months ago and had the Triton workbench with the router table top before that. I'm using the Triton mfo001. Built a little stand/trolley for it. Love it!

    Hi Dallas,

Yes that's the beast I am looking at. Its size is what got me looking at it. But if its triton router that's needed I might be stretching the friendship with the powers that be at home.

Hi all, would the TRA001 be too big and heavy for the kreg benchtop?

My mico winder has broken so need to look at that as well

Don't see why fitting a TRA would be a problem. If you look at the photos from lovetoride above where she is using an MOF Triton there is lots of room around it and the TRA isn't a lot bigger physically, or heavier.
Fixing the micro winder will be a bit benefit as that is something I use on mine all the time for that final fine adjustment.

Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated. Yes, I have to get the micro winder fixed, I have been meaning to for a while now and have contacted Triton for parts.

Just flound the disassembly blog which will help a lot!
