    Question Oval routing jig

    Need some suggestions on how to route an oval for a mirror frame. Searched the threads and mostly about circles and half-circles.

    Appreciate any advice or assistance.

    Hi Ian,

    Try searching for the term 'Ellipse' when routing oval shapes or on Google, search for 'Ellipse Routing Jig'.

    This article helped me last year:

    A Jig for Drawing or Cutting Ellipses.

    Because my wife called it an oval mirror, the term 'ellipse' didn't even enter my mind.

    I've looked at the site you linked and yes, that's exactly what I was after. So many, many thanks for taking the time to reply.
