Where to find this profiler bit?
Hi all,
I'm trying to build a router table and am having a lot of trouble finding a guided profiler bit to create the recess for the panel my router will be attached to.
Ive been using this video for the design:
https://youtu.be/rUT3u6muDWw
He recommends the bit below and I cant for the life of me find one like it locally in Newcastle, NSW

I'd like to buy locally if possible. Anyone know where I can find one like it?

Top bearing bits like this are generally referred to as 'pattern' bits. If you search using that word I'm sure you'll find a heap of choices.

You beat me too it, they are sometimes called flush trim bits that have the bearing at the top not the bottom. I have one and they work well, remember though the longer the cutting edges the deeper the cut and the thicker the guide pieces need to be, you want one with shorter cutting edges.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I was really hoping to get one that was a really shallow cutting length.
I managed to find one at Gasweld that was only 19mm (the Diablo one was 25.5mm). Hopefully that makes things easier as I only need to make a recess 8mm deep.
Picture attached below if anyone is interested.

Hopefully you're cutting your own plate and can radius the corners at whatever you like or the plate you're intending to use has corners radiused at 3/8" or more. Most of the commercially available plates would appear to have corner radii smaller than 3/8".
