Rounding greater then 90 degree egdes
Hi All,
Is it possible to round an edge with a router that is not 90 degree. See attached image. I am making a games console and this is for the control panels.
If not possible, how do you suggest I round this edge.
Cheers
Michael

How long is the edge?
if it's less than about 50mm you could use a template and a 50mm long bearing guided bit
If the consol's made from solid wood you could round it with a sharp block plane probably faster than it would take to set the router up
If that's too hard, knock the edge over with a 15°, 30° or 45° champher bit
you can still use a round over bit if you make two passesregards from Alberta, Canada
