Well there you go, you learn something everyday, the mathematics went over my head but.

Don't worry about the maths; I haven't had the time to go through it properly, but it does look interesting!

So does your router table. I may have to investigate further at different options at the WWS.

Would be to, now I'm going to have to lean on my bench a bit anf think the options over a bit more. I've got enough length in the scale track to try a radiused corner and if I don't like it do option 1.

I've got the PWS Engineered Router Top, and that's what I did. A sharp chisel and take it nice and slow...

9.5mm radius corners in the Stopped grooves are an unfortunate byproduct of CNC routing, debate rages with our customers.... square the grooves or radius the track????? With the introduction of our new High Pressure Laminated Tops, I'm leaning towards radiusing the ends of the tracks, a disk or even a belt sander will do a great job. I can't imagine your option 2/. Yuk!!!

Otherwise we look forward to seeing the finished product. BTW yours is a teeny baby router table we've just sent a 1350 x 800 table all the way to Geraldton in WA.

G'day Grahame,

I ended up going down the path of squaring the corners of the rebates, didn't take long and a scalpel come in handy for the laminate then a nasty sharp mortice chisel finished the job off.

No more pics yet, yesterday I cut the tracks to length and cut up some the aluminium angle for the fence and router lift. Should have some pics tonight.

1350 x 800, you can never have to big only too small. Size of shed and room depending of course.

Well Howdya and I went out to Waldos for a beer or two and thought we would look at this famous router table. Loh and behold it was finished. He showed us all his hard work.

as you can see it is very portable, you can even sit down at it while you are routing.

What's more, you can have a mate sit at the opposite end and have a few vitamins. What more or how much more complex does a router table need to be?

The legs are adjustable for those of a more portly stature.

Bugger, you mean there's a design flaw? That means I might have to revisit the table, that or I could just pull the chairs out a bit more.
