    Smile Alby's New Cyclone

Well I thought I'd upgrade the workshop vacuum.I found I had a suitable container to use for the waste bin. As you can see I made the cone from sheet metal. To bend the sheet metal I bent it by hand as it is only thin gauge metal similar to the sheet metal used for flashing's.
So far it is going well. I have done the initial test and everything is working like it is intended to work; I only have the final tidy up to go.

G'day Headscratcher, the vacuum is a standard 1700w wet/dry Conti Express. Just finished building the base unit to hold both units.
I still have to design and build a better clamping system for the lid of the galvanized bin, I hope to get that done over the next two weeks. Just have to finish building and installing the new kitchen bench tops from new floor boards. I'll post some photos of that once the epoxy resin has been applied.
