Aldi Shop Vac filters
Well, my Festool CT33 finally died (again) but this time I'm letting it rest in peace.
Bought a cheap Aldi WorkZone Titanium Wet and Dry, works fine for now but i can't find filter bags to fit it.
Tried a couple of shops but inlet holes to bags are all too small.
Has anyone found filter bags that fit?
The rubber sealing flange on the bag needs to fit over a 60mm flange and non of the ones i've seen will go over it.
Yes i have thought of a cyclone pre separator but have always found them more hassle than they are worth (double the footprint and half the suction).

I have the slightly older version of the shop vac and the Ryobi Expand It 30L dust bags just fit over the plastic. I buy them from the tool section in Bunnings; part number EXP-BAG30L.

I have been using a ryobi 'cover' on my aldi shop vac for a number of years. does a fantastic job and are inexpensive. they are an orange colour made from a nylon type material that the dust just falls off. simple to fit and really are great. buy them at bunnings in the tool shop. after sanding heaps of work the dust just falls off the cover and into the bottom of the bin. just give your shop vac a 'bump' every so often to dislodge the dust from the cover.
one option is to start with a new filter in the shop vac and fit the ryobi cover on it from the start. that way your pleated filter should last much much longer and stay almost like new.

Can you give us a photo, Inventor.
I'm interested, but can't really work out what this 'cover' is.
Cheers

looking at their web site it looks like they are now powerfit pre filter, cost $5.75, looks like the ryobi unit, from the photo ? mine is like a nylon/goretex type material.

Ok, found it. Thanks.
Am I right in thinking that when you use the pre filter you don't use a dust bag?Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.

the pre filter goes over the usual pleated filter. being a nylon type material the dust just 'falls' off. but does need the occasional bump to help it. i lift the motor off the vac every so often and give the pre filter a tap to help the dust fall off. at $5 its cheap
