Lappa - The saw is Makita LS 1016.

    Inside dimensions are W 940, D 940, H 730.
I made the depth 940 so as I could accommodate the big round DC outlet. With the saw fully extended to the rear, there is approx. 200mm clearance between the rear of the saw & back of the cabinet.
By not using such a big DC outlet, you could make the cabinet not so deep. The big outlet was something I had lying around at the time.
The depth measurement is taken from the front of the cupboard.
Like you, I played around with a few different designs before arriving on this one. The beauty of using cardboard for the top enclosure is that it will be easy to modify later if I find the need.

Bob L - Could you please explain what a BMH is.

    Regards

    Alan

    SCMS dust extraction

I'll measure mine up tomorrow. What measurements are important? Suppose all are, but you never know.

No need for the pictures etc. Your build thread with pics. gave me the info I needed

    Cheers - Peter.
