    It is just a 90* bend with the side cut away to match the straight section of the pipe. then a section of the straight pipe is cut out to match and the pipe is glued on with PVC pipe cement. I then used a drum sander in a dremel to cut away the excess inside the join and smooth everything up.

    2nd photos shows how I held it in place with a bit of string and a couple of wedges.

    I have discovered that Trade Depot have much better prices on fittings and pipe in NZ. ie. 150mm x 88deg bend down from $51.00 to $11.00. 150mm Y $69.00 down to $17.00.
    I see Unitseven from NZ is looking to do his DE up. Have a look thru this thread.
