    Default Dust sanding enclosure

Not really a dust extraction problem, but a way of getting around the issue of dust when sanding small pieces.

It looks like he's venting the chamber with a shop vac and which is why he requires a fairly air tight chamber.

If he vented the chamber with a half decent DC he could remove most of the front of the chamber making it a lot easier to access and to use power tools inside the chamber.

When using a more powerful DC, restricting dust escape from a process like sanding can be done in other ways such using curtains around a bench, or using a downdraft table. This further increases access and ease of use.

I was thinking the same thing, why not use a down draft table with a 6” suction?

Most probably because he doesn't have the room to fit a full size DE in his cramped two car garage?

Fair point. One day I’ll have a huge shed too!
