Yeah I need to give it a rest.
I have visited too many sheds and recall visions of (sometimes tidy) sheds covered in a thin layer of fine dust, serviced by something like a stock 2HP attached to a cyclone or a chip collector and then to machines using many metres of 100mm flex and then they wonder why they're wheezing. One bloke even said he had cleaned up for my visit.
Just a reminder.
This is a cool drink bottle top holding 270 mg of very fine dust.
It is enough to make the air inside 4, 6x4x2.7 m sheds over the recommended OHS dust limit.
And this is for fit healthy people - if we're taking seniors or kids, then there's enough dust to contaminate many more sheds.

Bunnings have a Arlec (I think) brand of remote on/off switch. My dusty is outside blowing or will be when finished blowing dust on sheep in the next paddock, Neighbors are 400m away at least.
The remote works through corro iron, buy one try it out through brick, if dont work take it back. Then consider something with more guts to work through walls.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

Note the $1199 price for industrial DC does not include all those extras you are describing - that price is for the extractor alone
The CFM specifications need to be read while taking a large dose of salts. All these machines are limited by what air will flow through a 6" duct, the length of the ducting, the type and number of junctions and MOST importantly how breathable you have made the machines. If there is nothing done about this last factor the the rest doesn't matter all that much. In the end with a short ducting, a machine opened up so it can breathe, clean filters and tail wind they can usually deliver 1000 CFM which is the minimum needed for dustier machinery.

That doesn't appear to be the case: I quote from the page: "This Kit Contains The Following -". It does seem a little surprising though.
As for the setup, I expect to following: Maybe three to four metres of 150mm piping from end to end, with maybe two 90 degree turns for each machine. It'll be up against a brick wall so I'll try and knock a few bricks out. At a guess I'd take out 5 or so and install vents. Or maybe I'll install a big honking 250mm pipe going out? That might be better.
I think I'm just going to have to go with that and hope for the best: I can only mitigate this risk I cannot remove it. I've research until I've ended up more confused that when I started, I can't afford flow metres or particulate counters, and quite frankly I'd probably ended up even more confused. I've eliminated various possibilities as impractical, unsafe or just downright wrong and have narrowed it down really to this or that. Given what you've said about ... creative values with advertising and the highly enclosed space, I think some thing with more oomph up our sleeve is a good thing.
Perhaps once I get the unit I'll be able to figure out a way to put it outside. Either way, its going to be a damn sight better than what I have now.
Thanks once again to one and all for the various bits of advice.

It invites you to check out the kit but if you looks near the price on the web page it says "dust collector only"
Excluding the dust collector, the "kit" contains stuff to the value of ~ $1045 - I doubt their giving the DC away for $150.
That automated controller kit only cons a mag switch for one machine, extra switches cost $90.
