    Default Extractor for a Tablesaw

Does anyone know of an small extractor that could fit under the wing of a tablesaw that also has a 15A plug to support the table saw running through it?

The slightly less convenient option is getting a small extractor, running a power board with switch and placing it next to the table saw switch.

Something like these will probably work but the plug running into the extractor would be nice.

Neither of those will help. Both totally underpowered and the second one is high pressure low volume, so it's essentially a shop vac.

Anything less than a 2hp extractor you're wasting your time and money.

Machine dust collection requires power and space, there are no functional shortcuts.

Those single bag underbench jobs like the Cabatec are designed specifically to make your life a misery. I can almost recall tears of frustration trying to empty chips out of that style bag.

My testing of those 1HP single bag units clearly showed they had the poorest air flow and the worst dust separation of any supposed "low pressure - high volume" Dust collector.

Table saws also spill dust in two directions, above and below the table.
To catch the majority of the fine dust spilled above the table requires about 300 - 400 CFM of collection (this needs 4" ducting) , while below the table extraction requires about 800 CFM (needs 6" ducting). This requires at least a 3HP DC which then requires a dedicated 15A GP).
For folks who have electrical power limitations a 2HP DC is often about all they can use.
While these won't collect as much fine dust it will be far better than a 1 or 1.5HP DC.

The second issue is location of the DC.
The single most helpful thing a DIY can do for dust control in their shed is locate their DC(s) outside OR locate the DC in an air tight enclosure inside the shed and vent that outside the shed.
