    Agree with hugh above. They are impossible to put out by pouring water on them - that is why fires in large sawdust heaps in sawmills would burn for years

    No one has mentioned static electricity as a fault.Can it or can it not create fire etc in dust systems? There are some for sale in places, is it a requirement?
