    Interesting tread,
i am looking at setting up my shed and also involved in a men shed and it's setting up. Dust extraction is one of my key prices of equipment I am looking at, My shed will be 9 x 4 metres so I'm also looking at the Sherwood DC 2900. So keen to see how you set this up. I am very interested in the noice level at I'm in a suburban area and don't really want to annoy the neighbours.
Men shed, this is a bit different and will need more consideration.

My DC2900 came the other day and I'll look at building the enclosure in the next weeks. I'll do my best to mitigate the noise. Taking advice from others on the forum with the construction/noise isolation. Timber frame prob 90mm, tin cladding external, ply lining internal, sound absorbing insulation between the surfaces. For airflow I'll build a baffle box similar to Bobs.

started building my DC shed on the weekend. all the framing done out of stuff i had lying about the place. just have to source some colorbond for the cladding to match the existing shed and a bit of flashing. I made it extra big so i can have a place for keeping drying timber out of the way.
