Default Professional Dust extractor designer needed

At work, a high school college, we are in need some design improvements on our dust extraction system in the woodwork department.

We need to employ the services of a designer and installer of an effective dust extraction system that will address two rooms with machines ranging from bandsaws, lathes, drop saws, routers, sanding stations, thicknessers etc etc.

The college is in the northeastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I know this sort of expertise could be pricey and being a school our money is somewhat limited, but still is there anybody out there willing to give us help.

    Thankyou
    Geoffrey

I would recommend that you contact www.oneida-air.com They have a pretty good design service for which they only charge $50. Work with them to get them a complete drawing in the format they need. The only concern I've had with their work is that they often go with a little too small of ducting to get all the really fine dust, but you could go with 6" pipe throughout instead of their recommendations and be in pretty good shape with a good design.

You are welcome to use my static calculator and such to build your own, but recognize that unlike hobbyists who only use one machine at a time, you have to add the needs of all the machines that could be on at once. Dust collection basics: http://cnets.net/~eclectic/woodworki...C4Dummies.html

    Good luck.
