Can you imagine the state of it if it was outside the shed if thats been in plain view of all who work in that one
That shows how lazy and stupid some places truly are.

Kind of amazing it could even pull enough dust through the three 4" pipes (one being taped shut) even with 7.5 HP to have any leaks. Shouldn't it have at least an 8" or bigger inlet? I see they have a backup dusty too, or the big one had a baby.

Maybe the backup dusty is to clean the big one!
What the hell does this idiot think is going to happen? More power to solve his problem?????
His problem is three tiny 4" hoses.
What a knob.
BobL, you should do a consultation on this bloke. He obviously is in need of an intervention!

Cheers WP.
I have seen this situation over and over again.
One workshop I visited a few years ago (not as a consultant - I was interested in a second hand machine they were selling) has a large area serviced by 4" ducting to machines. I got talking to the manager and he told me they started out with 2 x 3Hp machines then they went to 2 x 5HP machines and finally a 15HP blower, and still no effective dust control. I suggested larger ducting would help but when I went back a year or so later they had called in a professional Ducting company and installed a 10" main trunk, 6" side arms and kept the 4" ducts to the machines!
