    You can buy some very bendy ply. I looked at some to build a 525mm drum but managed to buy a metal drum the same size. It was classified as long or short depending on the way you wanted to roll the sheet.

    Thanks for the suggestion Chris. Am seriously considering. $50 would include a fibreglass kit would it?

    Fibreglass has gone up, make it a hundred dollars for the MDF, FG and some 18mm ply. The water to soften the MDF won't have much impact on the all up price. Hang on, take the ply out of the budget if you haven't used the 25mm MDF I gave you.

    copy that ... still have the MDF, was going to be a ubeaut drop saw bench with a built in dust hood and kreg stops down the fence on each side (no idea where Icould possibly have come up with such a thing)

    There may be enough MDF to do both
