    Default Its a start

shesss its not pretty...you have been warned, but at this stage its doing what it was designed to.dustyshelter3.jpgdustyshelter2.jpgdustyshelter1.jpg,

Once the landlord has done his own shed changes then all this recycled iron can be removed and his spare sheets added, all will be matching. There is also a gap in the exterior wall that has to be bogged. But considering the only neighbour to see this is 1.2kilometer away and its on the backside of the shed no worries.

    pipework2.jpgpipework1.jpg

Then as it is now, 1st shows it heading to lathe, I'll add a bit of flexi and trying to work out a horizontal broom handle the bell mouth will sit and adjust on. in the middle its drops to a floor vacuum (wifes carving) and also out to middle of shed to table saw and router table.

2nd pic off to the right it will head drop down to drill press, SCMS & band saw.
Where the pipe finishes as seen I have been dreaming of adding another downpipe section with elbow and about 1 metre of pipe horizontal that would spin out from the wall and plug into thicknesser, jointer etc... ideas most welcome.

Once I get this finished with blast gates etc then I'll go back tyding everything up.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

pipeline.jpg THis is not to scale..

Immagine your looking at a wall, 150 main pipe line, with 90* T drops down and has another 90* 'A'

'A' I would like to have swivel/turn, it would have a blast gate at start then an 1500/1800 rigid pipe with flexi on the end. The swivel would mean its out of the way against the wall, but when I need to hook it to jointer or thicknesser I can swivel it around and connect the small amount of flexi to either machine.

The Y reducer again hasa blast gate and bell mouth at drill press.

The main line drops under a work bench where SCMS is fixed and comes up under the bench with bell mouth behind the saw. There would be a cabinet made around the saw also.

Questions How could I make the swivel work without too much air gap?

Unrelated to this...Having a bell mouth on small flexi to rigid pipe ...how can I travel the opening alone the lathe bench?

another of the 'to do' list are the blast gates but we have just ordered an upgrade of laser cutter, this new sucker can cut 6mm MDF in one cut. so blast gates hand made can wait a few weeks until this new jobbie gets settled in.

I think Fletty has a swivel on hs DP - check his shed thread out.

BTW I notice you are using Tee's with a small radius side entry and a main junction
It would have been better to use Y plus a 45º bend on the side arm to do that.
I wouldn't bother to change it now - just inserting it here in case a newly reads this
