Canadian Militay Pattern WW2 Army Truck
Hi folks, I'm
tryingto start a thread that will have jpeg files in it, I need your advice to do this. When I go to the attachment box and try to upload the files, I get them in the box to send them out, checkmark them, if I push the Go button nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Thanks very much for the reply
Thanks for your very quick reply. I had done the step you said but unfortunately I couldn't post anything.
I'll try again, there were 9 files that totaled just over 1mb. Is that to much?
Thank you so very much I really appreciate your help.

Hi NCArcher thanks for the directions I just tried them and for the third time I cannot get the DONE button to do anything. It will not kick back to the post I started or upload anything. If I push the Google back arrow it takes me back to add a post screen. I have lost my post when I get here. Is there anyway I can install the attachment section again? This worked for me before I installed the new update for Windows 10.
Thanks for your help.

I think you are missing a step.
Go to the post above and click on Edit Post
Scroll down and click on Manage Attachments
Click on Add Files
Click on Choose Files
Select a .JPG file from your hard drive and click on Open
Back in Manage Attachments click on Upload
A thumbnail will appear in the attachments box
Now click on Done
you should see the file under Manage Attachments
Click on Save ChangesThose were the droids I was looking for.

Hi I feel like a complete idiot, I followed your instructions point by point, but when I get to DONE button nothing happens. I can get the jpg into the attachment box but when I hit the DONE button nothing happens. It won't go any where. It's like the upload program just dies at that point.
I'm beginning to feel like I'm wasting your time.
thanks again

Hit the Insert button before you click done.

The only time I have ever had an issue with uploading photos is when the file size is too large. Try opening in a photo manipulation software and resave with the quality dialled down.
I suspect there may be some cofusion with the file sizes. 9 files totalling 1mb sounds a little odd. Cannot put my finger on it, but just does not sound quite right...

I normally go through the process detailed above and after I hit the Done button and it goes back to your text, I place the curser where I want the picture to go and then click the dropdown arrow beside the paper clip icon and select the attachment I want to insert.
