    Thumbs up Diesel train SD40

    Just finished the diesel train that I've really wanted to build for 30 something years.
    Norm Marshall in his Wooden Toy Book had plans for graders, steam paddle boats, cranes and many others that I built way back 30 years ago but never got around to doing the diesel engine so last week I got the wild hair and built it.

    IT's 18" long 3" wide and 4 1/2" sorry no MM's
    It's a scratch build from this picture.

    Oak, cherry, and walnut with a danish dark finish..

    The loco looks great Bruce, it looks realistic on the tracks hauling the boxcar & caboose, TOP JOB.
