New here just want to say Hi!
Just trying to get my feet wet here and get the feel of the site.
Have gotten into model building and have seen some REALLY out standing work going on here so as my name HTL means, Here To Learn am very interested to learn more about wood modeling.
I tried to down load a picture to a post and nothing happened so right now I'm just trying to see if I can post at all.
So lets see if this works before I do anything else. lol

OK here's a couple of my latest tries.
I'd like to mention that the lathe was not used in the making of this train.
I know there's a few things that needs to be finished but that's as far as it goes for now. lol
The passenger car and the truck down on the bottom are both scratch builds.

And a couple more. lol
The plans for the car I got at Grizzly's store on sale for $4 and the passenger car is a scratch build.

Hi,
Really top modelling mate.
Love it all - particularly like the loco and carriage BUT I am a bit biased.
Regards

G'Day Bruce and welcome to a top part of forum with a great mob of blokes [best in my opinion]...
Sir, I would have loved for you to show your handiwork one per thread with lots of photos of each as they are really good toys and models!!!
Saying that, I'm still very appreciative of you adding your masterpieces to the toymaking and model making section of the forum.
Please also post some of your Work In Program blogs as what you've done and how you've built them will encourage others to have a go too..
Again Bruce, THANK YOU and enjoy your time here.
Cheers, Peter [aka crowie]

You all got to see the new truck even before I posted it on Lumber Jocks. LOL
I need to figure out how the program blog works.
And thanks all for checking it out!!!

G'Day Bruce, Just start a new thread at the beginning of the project....
Check out Keith's train carriage in model making
or Trevor's Brough Superior in toymaking..
Both are very good examples of "WORK IN PROGRESS" blogs with lots of photos, build notes plus fun...
Cheers, Peter
PS - YES I noticed we had the privilege of seeing the Tank Truck first!!!

Administrator take note please!!!
Sorry all!!!
I think I've been posting in the wrong place so please move my simple posts to where needed.
Or send me a note and delete them and I will start over in the right place, which ever is easier for you'all.
Sorry one more time.
