    Smile Lowboy trailer T&J

Loved the looks of the Lowboy trailer plans from Toys and Joys so finally got around to building one.

The bed of the trailer in the plans is 17" but I made it 14" to meet the needs of my excavator and bulldozer.
I also used two sets of wheels the plans call for three.
    Used cherry for the build.

Here's my picture story of the build.

You are sure one talented craftsman Bruce and quick too.
You seem to have knocked this drop deck trailer up in no time flat...
Looks great with the prime mover plus the excavator and dozer....well done sir...

    Excellent work.
    Like all the details.
Interesting to see the deck cut out in the middle.

Here it is with it's dutch oil finish.
I have around 18 hours in it.
It's all cherry except for the wheels, still need to do some work on them.

I just noticed these aren't all the build pictures so if interested check out the blog for more pictures and some helpful tips too.
