Lookin Good Graham. I never did build the sleeper cabs for the two I made. The sleeper changes the whole look of the the truck. How many hours do you have in it so far? How did you make the grill? How are you going to finish it?

    Hi Bret
the grill was made from 19mm (3/4)pine and the center piece cut out with the scroll saw set on 3deg and then paint it black cut 3mm (1/8)square pieces and paint silver and stick them onto the center piece
push in so it is a tight fit paint the out side silver and trim off the protruding piece off the back

For a First Time Truck Model that is excellent.
I like the way you have made the inside of the sleeper cab accessible as well.
Congratulations on your workmanship, and, most important,- heaps of patience.
( Know of numerous woodworker who give up when things get complicated !!! )

I have that Richard Blizzard Book here,- an old hobby woodworker gave it to me,- found the projects too difficult,- he bought the book years ago when the grandkids came along, with," Big plans, " to make toys for them, Grandkids now grown up, without Grandpa making anything. Got two other publications from the same elderly gentleman,- one has a Model Yacht in it, same story,- never got made, while the other publication has a variety of furniture, etc, which simply sat on the old guy's bookshelf.
Someone else gave me some Time-Life woodwork project publications too,- similar story,- this time a retired cabinetmaker was the culprit !!!

( One wonders how many thousands of publications get bought, or projects downloaded, the world over, and never, ever get used to make anything )

    'ave a good day everyone,
    Roger

Patch I like it. The bull bar adds the "Aussie" touch to it.
