Default WIP 1932 Packard model 904

i'm doing a 1932 Packard this one is more hard to build than my others .There was a sad story about the real car ,there were 3 elderly ladies who were sisters and they bought this car new in 32 ,they also had bought a 28 Packard new .They had so much money and they were very good people who would help anybody some years down the road 2 sisters died and the last living was very lonely and heart broken ,there was a man and his wife who were in need of help and she hired them to work around the farm ,this woman was so kind she would by them there food gave them a good work place .All the time they worked there they would rob her blind ,by then the elderly woman became ill and her thinking and judgement was becoming poor .She did not know that these people were stealing everything from her just before she died they forced her to sign over the Packard to them they became very rude with her and the elderly woman became scared of them when she died they took both cars and all the contents of the property and sold it all for money .I'm building this car and i am going to put it in a meuseum where they lived in there memory this was so sad what happen to these people.DSCN0037.jpgDSCN0038.jpgDSCN0039.jpgDSCN0040.jpgDSCN0041.jpgDSCN0042.jpgDSCN0043.jpgDSCN0044.jpgDSCN0045.jpg

Thepackards were classy cars and this is a great looking model!!!

There are some grubs in this world. Your story is not so uncommon and that is a great shame.

    G'Day "hornpout"
You've been holding out on us, this BEAUTIFUL model is well down the track through saying that the photos are certainly great, thank you....

That's an awful story on how people can be so, so selfish, especially when the old lady was kind....Thank you for honouring the memory of the three sisters...
    Cheers, crowie

That quite a heavy story and you have also been touched by it that you wanted to make something for their memory.

Come on Hornpout, That's way too good a looking model to only give us 2 photos.....
PLEASE a dozen more showing the detail of this magnificent project, thank you.

So sad when you hear stories like this there are some evil people about.

Anyway a very nice thought about where your car will end up. A fantastic model well done on a great build
