    Default cheap silicone molds

    G'day
I found these cheap silicone molds on ebay .They are 60mm x 60mm x 30mm which means you can make 3 sierra type pen blanks out of a casting .I have also used them for casting pendant blanks .The molds are only about 1-2mm thick so not sure how long they will last .So far I have used one about 6 times . Handy for using up that little bit of excess resin .
They are described as " silicone square muffin molds " and are available for $1.73 with postage .

At that price you can't complain if they don't last too long. Do you have a link to them?

Are these the ones? There are these as well for multiple pours with each cavity 80 x 55 x 22.

Over many years, I've learned that when I need to open a squeeze tube of silicone caulking, I might as well use the whole tube.
It often polymerizes in the tube anyway.
First, collect the objects that I want to use as mold shapes.
    Wet them with soapy water.
Butter them all over with the silicone which does not stick to soapy water.
Wait for the silicone to set up and peel my mold ovv the object.

Yep ,that's the one .There are many listings . At least one offers a further 5% discount for a purchase of 4 which I got . Some of the many other shapes may be usefull .
