Cholla Cactus Casts
Whilst tidying up my workshop I came across a big box of Cholla Cactus I bought back in Jan 2012 although it seems like a decade ago. At the time I did heaps of pen blanks and these were what was left. So I stabilised the lot in Cactus Juice and cast up half of them in large pepper grinder molds standing up. I used mainly red, with some yellow and black, epoxy casting resin that unfortunately mixed more than I'd like.
Ended up with a pepper grinder blank turned to 70mm dia, some knife scales, some small blocks and some pen blanks
