Many thanks to those who have taken the time to reply to my request yesterday. I now have a good selection of suppliers from whom I can source burl pen blanks. If I can be of assistance to other pen turners in the future I will happy to help.
I read with interest some of the tools used to turn pen blanks. Personally I use a 1 inch & 1/2 inch round nose scraper. Having a tool flat on the tool rest gives me good control.
