Thread: 2009 International Pen swap draw & Pictures

I drew a guy in USA and we have already exchanged emails. He sounds very nice and I look forward to further contact with him. He is also going to send me some USA domestic pen blanks, so that will be great. I will sort out some blanks to send in return.

Drew a TPS member. Made contact and airmailed the pen this morning. Thought it looked OK.

Funny, I drew a guy in Australia and he seems like a swell guy as well .

John, my new live center is supposed to showup today and then I'll spin you up a surprise and get a package in the post. Hard to believe that a year of using an un-hardened live center can leave gouges in it big enough to make your blanks turn out of round.

Timberbits and I have swapped addresses and my pen for him goes in the mail Monday. He has already shipped mine.

Was a member first at the IAP before the woodwork forum here. Also a member of The Pen Shop, Eagle's woodworking forum and a new member at Pen Turners Paradise. Been in contact with my two partners, one in Canada and the other in Texas.

I have sent parcels by registered post to Cigarman and Gimpy both in the USA.2/2/09
