Smile 2011 Australia Day pen swap

PLEASE NOTE

This Australia Day Pen Swap is run under the auspices of the Woodwork Forum and as such is open only to members of this forum, it doesn't matter where in the world you are located, you are welcome to join in.

All we ask is that you join this forum to participate in the fun.
Joining is easy

Gidday.

I thought I'd organise this a bit earlier then last year.

I'm hereby declaring the 2011 Australia Day pen swap as officially open.

You all know the drill. If you are interested post a message in this thread, indicate your country of abode and whether you wish to swap overseas (OS) or domestic (Dom)

Please be sure to register by midnight (Sydney time) on January 25 2011 so I can include you in the swap partners draw.

The swap partners will be drawn and posted to the forum by 9 am Sydney time on Australia Day 2011.

If you are unlikely to complete the swap on time please do not register as this is unfair and unAustralian So don't be a drongo, do what is right.

This is open to all our overseas friends so if you are interested in swapping OS make a tag OS beside your name. If you want to just stay domestic put DOM beside your name. Let's see if we can make all swaps international.

It is open to pen makers from beginners and up. Everyone is welcome. The more the merrier. It is a great way to make new friends and to expand your horizons. Please let your pen turning friends know, so they can also join in.

Basic rules:
If you want to join in, post the following information by midnight 25 January 2011:
Name
OS or DOM (preference)
Country of Origin.
26 January 2011, I'll randomly (and scientifically!) draw names to make the swap partners ie they'll swap with each other.

After the draw is made contact your partner, make a pen and send it post haste, blanks can be exchanged also if desired, that's between you and your partner. The swap is open to all styles of pens, discuss with your partner. Please complete all swaps by 31st March 2011

When your partner's swap is received, take a photo and post to the forum (and brag about the nice wood you've received). We'll set up another thread for these photos etc
Please PM or email me if you if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. I may or may not respond depending on my mood etc.

Let's have fun!
