Had my package from MIK turn up yesterday and I'm very happy with what was in it
Some great blanks and a MKII bolt action dressed with an awesome Mecha blank
I am yet to be disappointed with one of these swaps, hope everyone else is as happy as I am with how it's all goneIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

My swap from HazzaB arrived today - what a beauty! With bling!! and a presentation box.
(I am ashamed to say that, although I have a plethora of cameras, the photos were taken with my phone - cause it was the quickest option ..... shame, shame )
Thanks HazzaB, I will certainly enjoy using this one!

Glad you're happy Peter Absolutely amazed how quickly you got it, I only posted this last Friday pm, so 7 days to get to the other side of the world.
I potsed a couple of pens to Babinda south of Cairns on the same day (Express Post) and to my knowledge they haven't arrived yet.
Anyway you asked me to take some pics before I sent it and I did, but forgot to photograph the blanks I included in the parcel, sorry.

My swap from beedeejay
Here are the pics from my swap with Ben aka Beedeejay, a beautiful JR Gent dressed in an orange (he went to the trouble of finding out my favorite colour) and worthless wood blank. Also some cool blanks & scrap burls to play with. Ben also found out that I was dabbling in box making and gave me some nicely figured camphor laurel boards to make boxes with "simply awesome". Thats my swap for this year completed and I have had two great swap partners in Ben & Andrew aka Corbs and could not be happier.
Regards Rumnut.

OMG !!!!
This was my first ever swap What can i say but OMG !!! Look at these wonderful timbers that Scott,SDB77 sent me !! Its a real struggle not to run out into the garage and start drilling and gluing,LOL.
The pen is a Jnr Gent clad in River Birch.

This photo is shot of the selection of timber blanks - cant decide which to turn first !!
His wife has made the Acrylic blanks, I really like the blank in Green, Copper and Black.

A Huge Thank You to Scott and his wife !!

That has been a terrific swap. Can I have them next? A beautiful closed ended pen, doesn't get better.

Keeping with the spirit of the swap, Bob and I did do our swap here. I gave mine to him while at the Februaury IAP Chapter Meeting, and his came home with my wife while he was dropping off blanks for the website. Sort of strange getting paired up with someone that is part of your website....was this planned?
I think I received the better end of this deal!
Not sure on the materials used, but it certainly a stunner(maybe BSea-Bob will stop by and let us know what is happening here), and there is a lot going on!!!
Here's some shots!!!
Let's get close?!?!?!
By getting right in there with the camera lens, I'm trying to show you that he doesn't need to be worried about someone scrutinizing his turnings.....there is not a flaw to be found!! Thank you Bob on a very well made pen!
Scott (hope he can't get this close on mine) B
