Yeah, it is actually really inconsistent. Sometimes it takes about a week, sometimes it takes about a day or two. I think it probably has to do with getting it sent at the right time. Also, I guess that it might take longer from Hobart to Adelaide than from Hobart to Melbourne.
I included two pseudo-micarta pens and I am keen to see what you think of them - so far I only have responses from family and friends (ie not particularly unbiased).
Be truthful - but maybe only in a PM if you are going to be too truthful ...
I reckon that you must be looking forward to when this is all finished though - I reckon that it would have been a real hassle organising. Great work though.

Cam, more headaches than you could imagine, and I thought that this BB was a time thief at times, mate you should try this fundraiser for loosing endless hours of your time.

Yep. I have been on several committees aimed at fundraising. You soon start thinking of work as your "down time"...
Mind you $2000 is a bloody good effort. The best we ever managed was $1000 for a quiz night.

G'day young Stirlo,
I visited Ian007 last Sunday evening to deliver some more pens for his fundraiser. Ian is trying to distribute the pens to all who requested them. He is also very involved with his son Dale's football team, coaching & looking after the First Aid side of things. Plus Ian & Tracy have bought a horse for their eldest daughter & this also eats into Ian's free time, with travelling to the stables, helping to his daughter to care for the horse, riding etc..
I was shown some pens from Sir Stinkalot, a couple of boxes from Silent C & Tikki's scrollsaw effort. Beaut work everyone, thank you for your contributions.
Regards,
Barry.

I'm still turning pens when I get the time (not often). I have a box of pens for sale out on consignment and have more pens and $Cash to get to Ian at some stage.

The school brought there first bit of equipment the other day, a Treadmill for the kids.
I will post a pic if I remember to take the camera this week.
We got a thankyou for the funds raised so far in the school news letter on friday.
I am told there is more equipment on the way but I am not involved in buying the gear.
I am sorry if I havent yet sent you your pen/s, I have been very busy else where and hope to find some time to turn some more in the next week or so.
Tikki, I showed Gav's teacher your intarsia puzzle ( several weeks ago ), she was blown away by it, after a bit of a talk about it we thought that it would be very good for the kids to use in the class ( with help of course)to help them with there fine motor skills. Hope thats OK.
