I have received a great package from Peter (USNR'03)
    in Virginia U.S.A.

He informed me that the pen is a "Gadsby with M3
Black lava and Cobaltium" and it will make a wonderful
    addition to my collection.

Peter, and my other swap partner HazzaB, have been
advised that I have just had an operation on my ear
and things have been delayed. The skin graft has been
performed, stitches removed and hopefully I will soon
carry out my part of the deal.

Thank you for your patience guys.

    Allan

I have sent both of my parcels - dlbourke has received hers in Vic Aust and BSea should be getting his in USA any time soon. Forgot to take a pic of what I sent Deb so she'll have to post a pic for me did remember before I put the OS one in the mail but will wait until it lands.

The swaps have been awesome so far. The "Wormy Persimmon" set was my favorite so far. Mailed off my first swap and trying to get the finish done on the second. This one has been giving me fits. On my third try. Keep the pics coming.

I was at work and received a call from the wife...she wanted to know what I bought that needed to be signed for from Australia! Told her that I hadn't bought anything, so she opened it the box to make sure So not right!!! But since she is the one that does most of the 'good cooking' around here, I'll let her get a pass on this....but just this time(hope she don't read that, I'll be buried in the backyard under the mill)

Anyway, I get home and find everything nicely stacked, and her standing there with a smile...telling me I am gonna love it(cause apparently she is thinking she gets to keep it)!!

    First the wood goodies)

Now the good stuff! Not sure on the timber, but ain't it a beauty!!!!

    Out of the box!

    Different angle!

Just wanted to thank Troy! Photo's are clickable to get larger images(I think)!!!

Received from HazzaB a beautiful Sierra Executive with the Australia centre band wrapped in Tasmanian Myrtle Burl. Beautifully matched and executed as always my happy snap does not do it justice. A fine collection of pen blanks including a spalted Raman stump that will deserve a quality pen kit.
Thanks so much for the swap. I will treasure (and use ) the pen.

My pen from HazzaB arrived today and Harry did an excellent job on the fit and finish.
The pen is a Knight and the wood is York Gum Burl.
I'm not familiar with the Knight kit but I'm going to look into getting a few.
    I really like the size.

He also included some nice blanks that are on my must turn shelf.
    Thanks again Harry,
    Mike
