Dismantling Emperor Cap
While the jigs were quickly knocked up, there is room for precision made jigs, possibly from Delrin, however, a soft wood does the job. Also, a neat fitting punch is more desirable than a drill bit, but I had to use what was at hand at the time, hope it is of use to you. Amos

Many thanks for this Amos.
I have a n Emperor with gold parts that I made 9-10 years ago. I carried it as an example of a higher end
pen and a bit of a skite stick!!
Some where along the line it was damaged and i have partly dismantled it. Your Tutorial tells me how to go
about the complete dismantling so that i can carry out the repair.
