Work bench #1
IMG_0940.jpg
Built a simple bench out of a Douglass Fir top, apron and drawer fronts. The rest including legs of 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood. Does the job.

Hi Steve
Welcome
Canada's a pretty big place, bigger than Oz.
which bit do you call home?
Or perhaps, from an Aussie's perspective, how close is your nearest Lee Valley store?regards from Alberta, Canada

Nice, a fair sized bench. Do you lock the castors somehow, or is it free to roll around?

Two locking castors and when its set up for an outfield table for my saw I wedge the two other castors with door shims. It doesn't go any where. The beauty of that bench is being able to move it around easily for other jobs.

Another case of bench envy for me!! Beautiful!!
Didn't get to Edmonton when in Canada . Spent several days in Vancouver and made sure to go to the
LeeValley store. Great service and a great store. Lucky you!!

Looks very good, but two tape measures, are you ambidextrous?

Nice bench - I'm jealous of the room you have to house it
