    Default Benchcrafted split-top roubo completed

Took a couple of months of effort, but got there in the end. I'm thinking that it needs a Benchcrafted shaker friend to keep it company however.

Queensland maple and rosegum, all from Mapleman - thanks Chris.

Thanks all - I've actually been on this forum for a long, long time, but have never contributed until now.

About to start a second Roubo today...

A second Roubo? A little explanation required there. First one looked good to me.

I enjoyed making the first one enough to make a second - and perhaps sell it.

I'll see how it goes - I generally take photos the whole way through, but whether I manage to find the time to upload them and write about them is another matter.

Attached is an early (taken with my phone, so not great) photo from the build of the above bench, showing the front slab with its large tenon completed and the second slab laminations ready to go.
