    Default Clement's workbench - WIP

Been working on this bench. Made of Kapur wood. Initially, I wanted to make somethig like a simple workbench like I used when I'm in school. But that changed when silly me added a 0 behind 15 giving me wood 150mm thick. The design changed to something adapted from the roubo bench. Will upload photos soon

My vices have nothing to do with wine women and song.

The front vice is held by four bolts and nuts bore into the table top

I bought a surface vice as my tail vice given my extreamly small workshop.

    Good work
You might want to consider recessing those bolts further down as it wont take much to run a plane or chisels into them . You probably only need 30mm of wood to hold the vice.

    Regards

    Thumbs up

Very solid small bench and it looks well made!!

I agree with Andrew about the recessing of the bolts.
