Glue up / assembly table
Hi,
May be not exactly a bench but here is the recipe
006c.jpg
Start with 1800mm by 1200mm (6ft by 4ft) sheet of 19mm (3/4") form ply, cut into 3 600 by 1200 (2ft by 4ft) pieces, cut two in half, one length ways and the other across. Cut slots in the appropriate places

and slot together, fix two battens to the remaining piece to stop it sliding about and put it on top.

It all packs up and slots away till next time.

For any one who does not know, glue just peals off form ply.
RegardsHugh
Enough is enough, more than enough is too much.

I can see that being a good addition to the workshop. The fact it packs away flat will be a good space saver.

The idea of packing everything away is what I like about this build.
I for one do not have enough space for a dedicated assembly table.
