    Default Make a Holtzapffel Workbench

    Ok,

I assume a lot of you all subscribe to the Popular Woodworking USA email (if you dont, u should its free). For those that dont, the latest one I got today has a link to a slideshow of Christopher Schwarz making his own Holtzapffel Workbench. This is a fantastic design that is proven itself over the years and is the type I wanna build for myself one day.

So, anyone that is interested in making a fine Tool for themselves, check it out.

    Cheers,
    Wayne

    Nice find Wayne. The slideshow is a kind of zen experience . . . silent, black-and-white workbench-becoming . . .

    The Sindelar collection is magnificent.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

That is just beautiful... I wonder if I can get away with making it and using it as a dining table? I could print the slideshow pictures and hang them in the dining room too... maybe need to send GSWMBO out for the week though.
