Knocking at the door with feet
Hi all,
this is an expression we use in Italy when we enter in someone else home for the first time and we take a gift on the two hands. I already introduced myself in another post and now I decided to write this new one offering you a plan I recently did.
You can get it here:
Roubo workbench plan
It's a zip file where you will find a pdf plan of a Roubo style workbench (not a full Roubo for the different vise) and its SketchUp file. If you are new to SketchUp (free software) you can watch a video I prepared to illustrate the basic tools to take full advantage from it (please, don't laugh too much for my English )
About plans | SketchupWoodPlans
That is the workbench I use in my shop and I'm very happy with it. So, I hope you like it too.

Looks very well put together and extremely functional, I'm impressed. I imagine this one is a little smaller and lighter than the hostirical benches, what are the dimensions?

The plan you can download from my blog reports the exact dimensions of my workbench and...yes, I find it very functional though easy to build.

.
Welcome Luca,
Solid looking bench, it would be easy to put a shelf under it as well.

Yes, it is possible, but when I built it I wanted to mantain the original Roubo style, even if it is not exactly the same.
