I think most of us have suffered from the drawn-out project syndrome at various times. You spend so much time trying to remember where you stored half the bits, plus remembering where you're at!
I do like the look of Brush Box, but it's not the easiest wood to work with hand tools - dulls a plane blade quicker than most. But looks the goods when it's finished. I see a good sample of it each day because our kitchen/living area floor is Brush Box......
Cheers,IW

It's shocking how, when you start a big project, you find that 10 others need to be done first.
Im building a small Roubo. It WAS a very good start....then I thought, if I'm going to put it against the wall I need to fix the shelving, then I need to finish painting the floor (that smooth grey stuff, it's great) then I needed to tidy the other shelves to accommodate all the extra crap, THEN I had to rearrange everything Tetris style, then the bloody jointer was in the way....now I need stands for the drill press, thicknesser and bandsaw all with wheels to accomodate the shelving......
God dammit, I've finally done the top and four legs, but there is still all the rest to go....what a headache!
Let's hope I actually use it and not simply give it to the grandkids pristine in 30 years.....(it's already nicer than half the furniture in the house!)
