    Reckon so,

My Mrs had plantar fasciatis, which is "tennis elbow" in the sole of the foot.

Nothing really worked, rest/excercise/orthotics.........eventually she had a cortisone shot into the site, and that eased the inflammation, and allowed her to heal up.

Still has to be careful, though.......

    regards
    Alastair

Tell you what; if you go, so will I. (been deafened by constant tinnitus in one ear. 2 months now. )
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Yea, It really feels good when the Dr stick the needle in and wiggles in around so he can find the really sore spot before he shots the juice in. But should be ok for 3 months or so.

If it happens you have to give up woodworking I'll be happy to take a one or two of your unfinished projects off your hands Greg. Or will we simply be calling the young master to do the leg (or elbow) work?

I finished two little jobs yesterday and started another. It was just another Saturday, but with a particularly nice lunch.

From post number 1 - "This will probably take me a while to finish."

Next few days might see me back in the shed, once I ferret all the locusts out of the car's radiator

Groggy, you are remarkably courageous and good-humoured in sharing this long WIP with the forum. Admirable.

FWIW, your best bet with soft tissue injuries is a physio IME, and there are clinics that specialise in arms and hands.
    Cheers, Ern
