If it takes much longer, it'll qualify as an antique.
It's been an epic journey which I've enjoyed watching.

Reminds me of the little voice oft heard in my house "what happened to all the furniture you were going to make for me".
Course Groggy would reply "well a mans gotta have a bench to make the furniture women" whereas I have no such excuse.
BTW still can't figure out how the vice operates Groggy so I do expect a video at some point.Mike

Drilled a few holes for the leg glide. Darn pity the drill bits haven't shown up from the Colt order, I had to use some cheap Chinese bits (never again) and the edges of the holes will take a bit of sanding to get right.
Total of 52 holes but in reality it was 104 as the work piece was flipped and drilled from the other side to avoid chipping on the back. Maybe during the week I can do the decorative end and glue-up. The draw boring should be fun, I made some 10mm dowels out of New Guinea Rosewood and I am hoping they have just enough give for the 1/16" offset.

Greg, not long to the Melbourne Timber & Working with Wood Show, maybe you could bring the bench along for the Forum stand display as the longest WIP thread on this Forum?
