Wooden screw for leg vice
Where can I find one, at a reasonable price?
I've seen people recommend that you make them yourself (which appeals to me). Unfortunately, I don't own a lathe, which I understand is pretty much essential. So that's not really an option.
I've seen them on ebay, and from various tool makers in the US, but the postage is expensive. Usually Lee Valley offer surface mail, but I don't think they have a suitable product.
As always, thanks for help.
EDIT: Looks like I could also use this: http://www.carbatec.com.au/carba-tec...se-screw_c7770, which is nice and cheap, but seems like cheating.Cheers,
Eddie
