Default 1" Laguna Resaw King bandsaw blade

    Here we have something different!

This is a 125" (3175mm) Resaw King bandsaw blade.... but its short.

-- I snapped it a year ago sawing some pine into strips
-- It was professionally fixed by Henry Bros without any troubles....
-- Trouble for me is they had to take out a bit* and its is now a 3085mm (121.5") blade!
-- It will no longer fit my Laguna SUV14"

SO! If you have a bandsaw that can take a 1" blade and have been drooling over owning a $295 Resaw King blade this is your chance!!!

    See: https://www.gregmach.com/product/resaw-king-blades/

-- Attached are as good photos as I could get
-- If your saw takes a blade less than 3085mm, simply get it re-cut and welded by your local blade place. Henry Bros charged me $10.
-- The blade has a chipped tooth, as pictured

Now, to the guts for the buyer:

-- I unconditionally certify that this blade is absolutely perfect other than the re-weld and chipped tooth
-- It has been sharpened once by HB, on repair. They can do this five times.
-- This blade was looked after! As it cost $300 at the time, it was treated with love.
-- It was hardly used. It certainly was nowhere needing a resharpen, but had one anyway since it was there.

I'm hoping to get $150 for it.

Pickup or delivery via discount courier (at cost)

Why am I selling this now???? I went to put it on for some resaw work and goddam bugger fek it didn't fit! Shhhhhhhheeeetttt..... so, there we are, you can see how little it was used if it sat in a box for a year between.....

    * the tension curled a little bit at the end and they said it would be "best" to remove it.... so its all perfect virgin steel.

Why not send it back to Henry Bros? Removing 3 1/2" effectively destroyed the blade rather than fixing it.

The end where it broke caught in the guides as it descended, causing it to kink like a pigtail. I knew they took a section out, but I had absolutely no idea how much (nor did they say!). I inspected it when it came back and it was a very good job. Very professional and neat.

It was only when I went to use it yesterday that the problem surfaced.

Im hoping someone else can use it. The forums members are more forward looking and creative then "buy it new in a box" so I'm hoping someone will see the opportunity - its still a big blade!

I said this in the text above. Obviously it will need a chop and reweld to suit.

I'd rather just sell it - I cant use it - someone else might.

    Default king resaw blade

Hmmm...interesting. A bit off topic but when I couldn’t find anyone local to sharpen my King Resaw Blade i contacted HB and they told me they couldn’t do it. Needless to say I was mighty cheesed off, particularly as i paid $260 for it and was told it could be sharpened up to 5 times. Long story short, I tried to sharpen it my self but buggered it up so now its a useless piece of steel hanging on the wall. I ended up buying a 1” lennox carbide resaw for less than half the price of the King Resaw and a much better blade IMHO.

Just as a warning too - if the blade you’re selling is only suitable for a smaller saw be aware that a smaller saw will most likely have smaller wheels which could be a problem (stress cracks in the blade) with such a heavy gauge blade. Check your manual or manufacturer before you try it at its current length or any shorter. Just sayin’.

    $100

Surely someone can use it.... It's only 2.5" short of a 125" blade.

If you have a 14" system, this is a long blade, just chop it to length.

Hey Matt, is your blade a carbide tooth one that’s being sharpened?
    cheers
