Default 2900rpm Induction Motor

I have a:

8 amp
240volt
2900rpm
2 pole
1 phase
1hp

Induction motor for sale. Located in O'Halloran Hill, Adelaide.

Asking $50 (ish)

PM me if your interested. It works fine, just a bit dusty. I bought it for my cement mixer...2900rpm is too quick!

I had a low quality mixer that I got for nothing. Ended up getting rid of it. I'll just borrow one from a friend for the little mixing that I have left. This motor made the bowl spin really, really quick...quite funny to watch.

I had thought about keeping the motor for a spare, but my bandsaw is 3/4hp, so I thought if it ever burns out I'd replace it with a bigger one. Plus if I sell it I can buy more tools

Thanking you John, a pleasure to meet you and your beautiful family.

I fitted a plug and bench tested the motor for 10 minutes without fault.

Cheers.

Mark.
