    Default Brass Plane Adjusting Hammer

This Brass/Ash hammer is perfect for adjusting wooden planes with a beak to loosen the wedge and a slightly rounded face for adjustments. The hammer is 260 mm long and it weighs in at 300gms. The timber handle is Mountain Ash and the brass head was hand cut and shaped/polished from a 35 mm square bar.
Like all of my tools this hammer is designed to look great and be a functional part of your workshop. Of course it doesn't have to be used solely for adjusting planes but can also be used for tapping a chisel for light paring cuts or tapping joinery into place, in fact anywhere you need precise control of the direction and force of the blow

Price for this shiny little gem is $80 and postage is $10 anywhere in Australia
