    Default Bridge City Tools DJ2 Drilling jig w/ metric bushings, universal jaws and flip stop

    For sale is my Bridge City Tools DJ-2 in near mint condition in original box. It includes:


    • Metric bushings (4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14mm)
    • Universal jaws
    • A flip stop kit with single magnetic flip stop for repeatable locating.


    I'm asking $600, which is substantially discounted on what it sells for (about $700 USD if bought new now) and without the normal wait times on BCT. Happy to ship Australia wide at buyer's expense so let me know if you'd like me to get a shipping quote.

    Bridge City Tools describe this as a 'drill press in a drawer'. In my experience, it's that plus more. It's small, for those with space constraints, compatible with hand drills and super versatile. The standard and universal jaws make it very easy (if a little bit smaller than a drill press) to drill precisely into square stock (I used it primarily to waste out mortises), but also into cylindrical stock, endgrain, ends of panels etc. It works identically to the DJ1 (video below), except that it is set up for off-centre holes.

    I am a very big fan of this tool, but I need to sell some things for cashflow reasons and this is in nice enough condition to deserve a new home.
