I certainly wish I was there. I would have spent more money.

I watched and bought two items as a internet bidder . Buying like that was great . though a little confusing at first . I lost two lots trying to figure it out .
Tool sellers mostly find moulding planes more difficult to sell at the tool sales . They complain of bringing boxes of planes along and having to carry them all home again . I like moulding planes and I buy certain types so watch them sometimes . Ive got enough to keep me happy now so only occasionally buy when the more hard to get Cabinet makers types show up. Im only interested in furniture type moulders .

What is most frustrating about people who try to sell moulding planes and is exactly what happened at this auction is . The seller puts a picture up looking down on a box . No picture of the ends to show what in the fruitcakes the type of moulding plane it is !! And most of the listings had no description either. Same thing happens on ebay sometimes. I cant buy with a listing like that . I would have loved to have a look through all that though. There would have been some good gems somewhere in all that.

Another shout out to Sir Stinkalot who also picked up, carefully wrapped and posted my auction purchase.

And he didn't even steal any of the bits!
