just a reminder: you're not supposed to advertise things in this section of the forum (you listed it on FB) when you're listing them elsewhere as well, and any transaction is meant to be dealt with in the open.

you not a admin please stop acting like one
Here is the Rule
it know were says Facebook
6. Item listed on eBay Gumtree, Graysonline, etc must not be listed for sale on Woodwork Forums whilst the auction/sale is running on the external site.
- However you are welcome to direct members to any external auction by placing a notice in the FOR SALE on eBay and external sites Forum.

Respect the rules please - it says "etc"
"6. Item listed on eBay Gumtree, Graysonline, etc "
And the next sentence pretty much makes it crystal clear.

There is a specific section to post ads that are also on eBay, gumtree, Facebook etc. and it is NOT this section.

facebook exactly falls in "ETC". it's very clear that it's an external site.
And while I'm not an admin, I'm also not trying to be. I simply pointed out that your action wasn't in line with the guidelines. I didn't report you to the admins, I didn't care - I just wanted you to be aware that there's a place to do what you did and this wasn't it.

It really amazes me is simple mistake on my part has led people who I'd say are of mature age are
crying like kindergarten kids.
As I hadn't sold a lot on this forum in the last 18 months becouse the numbers on here had dropped becouse of facebook and being a member for almost 12 years I had thought I would give the members that gave so much to me something back.
And depending on how you read etc given that Greys online Gumtree and eBay are all a commercial sales website because that's what they (ie pay to sell or buy a item)
And face book is a privet and unpaid
Social networking site opposed to a sale site I didn't see a problem.
It wasn't until well after it's sold last night after I had marked it as sold that I thought about how rule number 6 maybe interpreted.
And this is why forums across the world are dying because people need to act like childrenDANGER!!!!I'm Dyslexic Spelling may offend!!!!!

Steady on there
Someone simply and politely reminded you of the forum rules and you respond with "you not a admin please stop acting like one".
A little terse I thought so just thought I'd explain it further. Certainly not acting like a child or crying like a kindergarten kid. I'm sorry if I offended or sounded defensive.
Probably would have been best if you simply said, "oh, ok, thanks wasn't aware, sorry" or something like that.
Regards Adam

Ok guys.
Get back to your sheds.
The minor problem has been noted.
That is the end of the matter.
Case closed.
